Ethical and Responsible Management
The Plácido Domingo Foundation is governed by the principles of transparency, accountability, legality, and efficiency, in accordance with Spanish Law 50/2002 on Foundations, its own Code of Ethics, and its annual action plan.
The Foundation was officially established on 1 April 2025 upon its inscription in the Spanish Registry of Foundations. It allocates all its resources in a transparent and sustainable manner to the fulfilment of its institutional purposes.
Its funding comes from private contributions, including those of the President and Board members, as well as sponsorships, partnerships, and collaboration agreements with public and private entities that share common objectives.
