The Plácido Domingo Foundation’s Zarzuela Residency is an intensive week-long programme bringing together exceptional young singers from around the world in Madrid to refine their artistry and explore the rich musical and dramatic traditions of the Spanish lyric genre.

In support of communities affected by the 2024 DANA in the Valencian Community, we have collaborated on various initiatives, including the replacement of musical instruments and the soundproofing of classrooms in affected educational institutions.
